![]() ![]() Once you've planted the Gyroid Fragment, you only need to water it once! After watering with your watering can (or rain) you'll then see a little puff of steam float out of the hole in the ground. Dig a hole with your shovel then, open your item menu and choose the option to bury your Gyroid Fragment. To plant your Gyroid Fragment, go to your island and find any open spot on the ground. Think of a Gryoid Fragment like a Gyroid seed! You need to plant to the Gyroid Fragment to make it grow into a fully-formed Gyroid- fortunately, this is quite simple to do! All of the islands from Kapp'n Boat Tours should contain at least one Gyroid Fragment. Just like with fossils, or anything else buried, look for an X on the ground to mark the spot! Dig it up to find the fragment. When you first find Brewster to unlock the cafe or take your first boat tour from Kapp'n, you'll likely come across a Gyroid Fragment on the ground.
